Localities and Terroirs : Saint Jean
is located at the foot of the slopes
but well exposed, near the Narosse
stream. The locality alludes to the
Saint Jean de Narosse church
which is located a few steps from
our plot. The soil is shallow and
quite stony for the upper part,
Marnes, on a bed of pebbles for the
lower part.
Harvest : Manual in 20 kg
perforated crates.
Yield : 45hl / ha
Aging : All the production of
Santenay St Jean is put in barrels
of one or two years for 12 months.
Food and Wine Pairing : Grilled fish
or scallops à la plancha.
