The Story

Castellari Bergaglio’s history is that of a family who decided to dedicate their time to wine production in the late 19th century. The winery’s objective has always been to make wines whose features are unmistakeably linked to the terroir, and to achieve this attention is focused on the Cortese grape variety, emblematic of the Gavi production zone.

Gaviteca is the name of a project whose mission is to communicate the “culture of wine” in all of its myriad aspects, that of pouring and enjoying of course, but also wine’s historical character, recounted through photographs and printed materials, and the offering of special artistic and cultural events, and of classes and workshops.
